Given the Flames continued success since 2004, and the exposure “The Red Mile” received in the media both locally and internationally, we are working to assist local businesses in capitalizing on this unique brand recognition. Phase One involves listing every business in a searchable on-line directory, either by category or by name, so that newcomers can easily find what they are looking for along the now-famous strip. Phase Two calls for massive promotions and awareness campaigns during key tourist events such as the Calgary Stampede, business conventions, conferences, and international tradeshows.
